Church4Christ Sandbox

Sandbox privacy policy

This Church4Christ deployment is a public, disposable software demonstration, not an operating church service. Do not submit real names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, account passwords, payment details, photographs, information about children, medical information, or confidential prayer requests. Use invented identities and reserved @example.com, @example.org, or @example.net addresses only.

The sandbox stores fictional account/profile data, content edits, form submissions, attendance, simulated transactions, and uploaded demo files in Cloudflare D1 and R2. Session cookies support sign-in; a device cookie supports demo authentication rate limits; a language cookie remembers the interface language; browser storage remembers the theme. Demo administrator roles are available to visitors, so all submitted content must be treated as publicly viewable and editable. Never reuse a real password.

Email is recorded in a simulated inbox rather than sent. Payments are simulated locally: there is no Stripe connection, no card collection, and no transfer of funds. External learning and integration providers are not connected. Embedded public media may contact its hosting provider when you choose to play it.

At 00:00 America/Chicago each day, including daylight-saving changes, the active demo database returns to its fictional baseline. Visitor accounts, authentication proofs, edits, and simulated transactions are removed, and existing sessions become invalid. Visitor uploads are cleaned from the demo bucket after reset. Save anything you need outside this demo. Platform security logs and recovery backups may have separate Cloudflare retention periods; the daily reset is not a guarantee of immediate deletion from every provider backup.

This sandbox provides no confidential communication channel and should never be used for real church records. If you entered real information by mistake, delete it through the demo interface and stop using that identity here. For project information and reporting, use the Church4Christ GitHub repository; do not post the sensitive information in an issue.
