Peter is our deacon of facilities, the person who quietly makes sure the building is ready, safe, and welcoming every time we gather. Lights that work, a warm room in winter, a clear path for a wheelchair, a leak fixed before anyone notices it — these are his ministry, and he offers them as unto the Lord.
He came up through the church’s youth group years ago and never really left, growing from a restless teenager into one of the most dependable servants we have. Peter has a gift for spotting the unglamorous task that needs doing and simply doing it, without waiting to be asked or thanked.
Outside of church, Peter works in building maintenance, so his weekday skills flow straight into his weekend serving. He is humble, handy, and happiest with a toolbox in reach.
