David has served as our senior pastor since the earliest days of Church4Christ, back when the whole congregation could fit around a few folding tables. Two decades later, his heart is unchanged: he longs to see people from every background find a home in God’s family and grow into maturity in Christ.
Before entering ministry, David worked as an engineer, and something of that patient, build-it-carefully temperament still shapes how he leads and preaches. He is known for sermons that take the Bible seriously without taking themselves too seriously, and for a pastoral care that shows up quietly when it’s needed most.
David and his wife, Amy, have three grown children and, to his great delight, a growing number of grandchildren. On his days off you’ll usually find him tending his vegetable garden or losing patiently at chess to his youngest grandson.
